Position Summary

The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) – Endovascular Simulation is responsible for driving revenue growth for the ANGIO Mentor product line with the U.S. territory. This role blends deep clinical credibility with full commercial ownership. The CSS manages the entire sales process from prospecting through close, while serving as a trusted advisor to physicians, educators, simulation leaders, and hospital administrators. The role is accountable for new system placements, account expansion, and sustained territory performance within academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, and simulation‑based training programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Ownership & Revenue Growth

• Own and achieve an annual sales quota for ANGIO Mentor systems, procedure modules, and related services.
• Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, needs assessment, demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with EDU segment priorities and growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline in accordance with company standards.

2. Clinical Demonstration & Value‑Based Selling

• Deliver compelling, clinically credible demonstrations of the ANGIO Mentor platform, both on‑site and virtually.
• Translate procedural workflows, training gaps, and institutional goals into outcome‑ and ROI‑driven value propositions. 
• Position ANGIO Mentor as a strategic solution supporting procedural competency, credentialing, and patient safety.
• Confidently engage a wide range of stakeholders, including physicians, simulation directors, administrators, and finance teams.

3. Account Development & Expansion

• Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, including additional modules, upgrades, and services.
• Drive growth within existing accounts by expanding use cases, departments, and procedural specialties.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clinical champions, faculty leaders, and executive sponsors.

4. Market Engagement & Thought Leadership

• Represent Surgical Science at regional and national conferences, workshops, and professional society meetings.
• Establish a strong presence within the endovascular and simulation education community.
• Provide competitive intelligence, market insights, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, Clinical, and Service teams to support go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Support new product launches, pilot programs, and educational initiatives within the EDU portfolio.
• Ensure smooth handoff from sale to installation, training, and ongoing customer success.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Clinical background in endovascular, interventional radiology, cardiology, catheterization laboratory, vascular surgery, or related specialty.
• Proven experience in medical device, capital equipment, or healthcare technology sales.
• Demonstrated success in a quota‑carrying role with ownership of full sales cycles.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% within the territory.

Preferred

• Experience selling capital equipment or complex clinical solutions.
• Familiarity with academic medical centers, GME programs, and hospital purchasing processes.
• Prior exposure to medical simulation or training technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and clinical experience.
